Samuel Lederman MD, FACOG
Medical Director/Principal investigator

Dr Samuel Lederman grew up in South Florida and started practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology in Palm Beach County in 1991. He received his medical degree from the University of Miami Medical School in 1987, and completed his residency training at the University of Colorado. Since 1996, he has acted as medical director for several large clinical trials sites. He has served as Medical Director for Altus Research since it’s inception three years ago. Dr Lederman has worked as principal investigator in over 200 clinical trials and has completed extensive training in clinical research. He has published in several medical journals, and belongs to several advisory boards within the pharmaceutical industry. He is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Miami School of Medicine and has lectured nationally and internationally on a variety of topics in medicine.

Gloria Hakkarainen MD, FACOG, FASBP
Principal Investigator

Dr Hakkarainen graduated with honors from Wellesley College with a degree in Biochemistry and Psychobiology. After working as a research biochemist at Harvard Medical School, she obtained her MD degree from Albany Medical College. She completed her residency training at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Hakkarainen joined the practice in 1999 and is also board certified in Ob/Gyn as well as Bariatric Medicine and Anti-Aging Medicine. She is an expert in age management, Bioidentical Hormones and Weight loss. She has served as principal investigator or Sub-investigator in over 50 trials

Rossmeri Montalvo MBA, CCRC
Site Director

Rossmeri Montalvo, MBA, CCRC, CCRA, has formal training in general medicine and health care administration. She has a degree of Doctor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Guayaquil, Ecuador; Master of Business Administration, specialty Health Care Administration from the University of Miami. She is a native of South Florida working as a Health Care Operations Administrator since 1989 and dedicated to the research field since 2005.
